You can use the app to activate your card, but to get the PNC Mobile App, you first need to sign up for PNC online banking.You can also add your card to a digital wallet like Samsung Pay or Google Pay to activate it automatically. Just use the PNC Mobile App and look for the Digital Card Management section.If you got a new PNC card because your old one was lost or stolen, contact PNC immediately to report the lost or stolen card if you have not already done so. Otherwise, you risk having your money stolen.

If you want to activate your card using the PNC Mobile App, skip to step 7.
To activate your card by phone, skip to step 14.
Click the Sign On button in the upper right corner of the screen.
Select the Cards option.
Locate the card you need to activate from the list.
If it has not yet been activated, banner should appear to warn you than activation is required.
Click on the Activate Card link.
Follow the prompts to complete the activation process.
Go to the Google Play store or the Apple App store to download the PNC Mobile App.

Open the PNC Mobile App and sign in to your account.
Tap on the menu icon (the three lines).
Tap on the Cards option.
Locate the card you need to activate.
Tap Activate This Card.
Alternatively, you can also tap on Add to PNC Pay or Add to Apple Pay (depending on whether you have an Android or iOS phone) to add your card to your digital wallet. This will automatically activate the card for you. If you take this option, skip the remaining steps.
Tap on Begin Activation.
Get your unactivated PNC card.
Look for the phone number on the back of the card and then call it.
