If you are reporting the user for selling illegal or dangerous items, you might want to also report the listing, so that it can be removed as soon as possible. To do so, go to the listing you want to report, click on the Report button underneath the description, fill out the short report form, and submit it.

Find a listing, any listing, by the user you want to report.
To report the user from one of that user's chat messages, skip to step 10.
Click on that user's profile picture in the listing.
Tap the three dots menu on that user's profile page.
A drop down menu will appear.
Select the Report option.
Select the reason you are making the report from the options available.
Add a note about why you are reporting the user.
Provide all necessary details, but be as concise as possible.
Click on Submit Report.
Do not continue with subsequent steps.
Go to your inbox.
Select one of the messages from the user you want to report.
Click the three dot icon to bring up the menu.
Select the Report option.
Choose the reason you are making the report.
Add some details about why you are reporting this user.
Be precise, but don't go on too long.
Click on the Submit Report option.
