Dropbox is a convenient file sharing and cloud storage service that freelancers, artists, teams, and others use on a daily basis. If you have a Dropbox account and need to see an invoice or receipt, you have multiple options for locating it. All of them are fast and easy to do.
What You'll Need
If you use manual invoicing or pay by check then you can't access your invoices and receipts on Dropbox. However, you can send an email to invoices@dropbox.com to request a copy of your invoice.
If you pay by credit or debit card, look on your recent bank statements.
Dropbox payments will appear on your statement as DROPBOX*(transaction number).
If you want to find a receipt or invoice on Dropbox, skip to step 3.
If you purchased Dropbox in Apple's app store and want to find a receipt for your purchase there, skip to step 13.
If you purchased Dropbox in the Google Play store and want to find a receipt for your purchase there, skip to step 16.
Look through your email in the account linked with your Dropbox account.
After every transaction, Dropbox will send you a receipt by email.
Go to the Dropbox home page.
Click on the Log In link in the upper right corner of the screen to log in to your Dropbox account.
To find a receipt or invoice for an individual account, continue on with the next step.
To find a receipt or invoice for a team Dropbox account, skip to step 10. (You must be an administrator of the account to view receipts and invoices.)
Click on your avatar.
Click on Manage Account.
Select the Billing option.
Locate the transaction you want to get information on.
Click on the Invoice option next to the transaction to get the invoice, click on the Receipt option next to the transaction to see the receipt.
Click on the Admin console.
Select the Billing option from the navigation menu on the left side of the screen.
Click on the Billing Information option.
All of the transaction information for the team will be displayed for you, with the most recent transaction at the top.
Open the Apple App Store app on your iPhone and sign in to your account.
Tap on Purchase History.
Search for the transaction you want information on in the list you are shown.
Open the Google Play app and sign in to your account.
Tap on the profile icon.
Tap on Payments & Subscriptions.
Select the Payment History option.
Your transaction should be in the list you are shown.
