How Do I Move My AT&T Wireless Service to a New Address? (Step 2)

Go to the AT&T online service moving page.

AT&T online service moving page

Enter your new address in the text box under the header "Tell us where you're moving."

Click on the check availability button.

AT&T will check to see if your new address is within its service area. If it is not, you will not be able to transfer your AT&T wireless service to your new location.

If service is available at your new location, follow the prompts to move your service.

You will be given a chance to upgrade to a new plan at this time, if you wish.
You will also find out at this time whether you can self-install your new service, which is the fastest option, or whether you need to make an appointment to have a technician come and do it for you. If necessary, schedule an appointment for a technician to come and set up your new service.

Select a date to cancel your old service and begin service at your new location.

Go to your AT&T customer profile.

You will need to change your billing address, too.

Scroll down until you find the "My linked accounts section."

Locate the billing address you need to update and click on the Edit option beside it.

Follow the prompts to update your billing address.
