The "message read" option is automatically enabled for all users on OkCupid, so there is no specific setting to turn it on or off. When you read a message, the sender will see that it has been read. If you have privacy concerns, you can choose to manage your visibility settings in the app.

To login to your OkCupid account using your phone number, go to the login page and select the option for phone login. Enter your phone number, and you will receive a verification code via SMS. Input the code to access your account. Make sure that your number is linked to your account for this process to work.

To unlike someone on OkCupid using your desktop, go to your profile's Likes section. Find the person you want to unlike, and you should see an option to remove your like or undo it. Click on that option, and the like will be removed from that person's profile.

Error code 5 typically indicates that there is an issue with your account or login details. This could be due to incorrect credentials or a problem with your account status. We recommend double-checking your username and password. If the issue persists, it might be necessary to follow the account recovery steps provided on the login page.

If your phone number is not being accepted during the onboarding process, ensure that you are entering it in the correct format, including the country code if required. Check that your phone number is active and can receive SMS messages. If the issue persists, try restarting the app or website and re-entering your information.
