Open your web browser. In the address bar, type www.lastpass.com and hit Enter. Once the page loads, click the Log In button at the top right corner of the screen. Choose Vault to begin the login process.
Enter your email address and your master password. If you remember your credentials, you may be able to access your account right away. If you see an error, double-check your email and password for typos. If login still fails, move to the next step.
Below the password field, click the “Forgot Password?” link. This opens the account recovery page. You will be asked to enter your email address again. After that, LastPass will send a password reset link to your inbox.
Open your email and find the message from LastPass. It should arrive within a few minutes. Click the reset link inside the email. It will take you to a page where you can create a new master password.
